Rick's Recruiting Tips

Thursday, September 29, 2011 -

If you're like me, I'm always looking for new ways to work more efficiently and to get more work done since being a recruiter we often find ourselves doing quite a bit of redundant work, so our ability to use shortcuts that are available in the programs we use every day can be a real value.

Did you know that you can use the signatures feature in outlook to program standard responses as part of your recruiting process?

By going to tools: options: format tab and then signatures within outlook permits you to include multiple signatures that can be easily included into any outgoing message.  In my outlook I have signatures that are used for candidate driving directions, interviewer invitations, standard applicant responses, etc.  Because you’re not limited by the number of signatures you have as many as you can handle while having the ability to customize them and avoid looking like a bulk email.

Give it a try.   -Rick
